What they bring
What a Sigmaschool graduate brings to your team.
Twelve weeks of structured, mentor-reviewed, AI-native engineering work. Not a syllabus — a portfolio.
Modern full-stack fluency
TypeScript, React/Next.js, a relational database, authentication, deployment, observability. Production-grade — not tutorial-grade.
Real AI workflow
Daily use of Claude/Cursor as a working developer would. Trained to specify, review, and integrate AI-generated code — and to know when not to trust it.
Defended portfolio
Every project shipped to a public URL with a recorded Loom defence. Hiring managers can see the work and hear them explain it before the first call.
Communication under pressure
Weekly mentor 1:1s, mission defences on camera, peer code reviews. Comfortable explaining what they shipped — and why — to non-technical stakeholders.
Career-prepped from day one
Technical interview prep, behavioural prep, system-design fundamentals. Ready for live coding rounds, not just take-homes.
International by default
Cohorts are multi-country. Graduates are used to async + remote collaboration, English-language code review, and global team norms.
How it works
Three ways to hire from Sigmaschool.
Option 1
Curated shortlist
Send us a one-paragraph role brief (stack, level, location, range). We come back within 48 hours with a shortlist of 3–6 graduates whose portfolios match — with deployed projects, GitHub, and Loom defences pre-attached.

Option 2
Hiring partner pipeline
For companies hiring 2+ juniors per year. We brief every cohort on your stack and culture before they apply, run a dedicated demo-day slot, and give you first-look access for 7 days before each cohort goes public.

Option 3
Direct sourcing
Browse the public graduate showcase. We surface portfolios, contact info, and current availability for every alumni open to roles. No paywall, no gatekeeping.

FAQ
Hiring partner FAQ.
Who do Sigmaschool graduates work for?
Sigmaschool alumni now ship production software at Grab, ZUS Coffee, Siemens, MoneyMatch, OCBC, CoinGecko, Aerodyne, and a long tail of Malaysian and Singapore-based SaaS, fintech, and product companies. We've placed graduates into junior frontend, full-stack, AI application, mobile, and implementation engineering roles.
What stack and skills do graduates leave with?
Every graduate ships a 12-week portfolio covering TypeScript, React/Next.js, a relational database, authentication, deployment, and at least one AI-integrated production feature. They've been mentor-reviewed weekly, defended their code on camera (Loom walkthroughs), and trained explicitly on working with Claude/Cursor as part of their daily workflow — not as a chapter at the end.
How is this different from hiring traditional bootcamp graduates?
Traditional bootcamps were designed pre-2023 and largely teach the pre-AI workflow. Our graduates were trained to specify under uncertainty, read AI-generated code critically, and own what they ship — the three skills that consistently differentiate engineers who can move quickly in 2026 from those who get stuck. Hiring managers we work with report 30–50% faster onboarding compared to graduates from non-AI-native programmes.
Is there a fee to hire a graduate?
No placement fee for direct hires. We don't take a cut of salaries, and we don't lock graduates into contracts with employers. Our incentive is good outcomes for both sides — graduates land roles where they grow, employers get engineers who actually ship.
Can I post a role or run a hiring drive with you?
Yes. We run periodic hiring drives, partner pipelines, and warm intros for employers with ongoing junior to mid-level needs. We can also share a curated shortlist from the upcoming graduating cohort. Email support@sigmaschool.co with a one-paragraph brief of the role and we'll come back within 48 hours.
Where are graduates based?
Most are in Malaysia (KL, Penang, Selangor — including Klang Valley). We also have alumni based in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, the UK, and the US — and a growing share of graduates take fully remote roles for Singapore or US-headquartered employers via Deel/Remote.com arrangements.
What does a typical Sigmaschool junior cost to hire?
For Malaysian-based junior roles, our graduates typically land at RM 4,000–6,500 for the first role, with strong candidates and AI-application specialists reaching RM 6,500–9,000. For remote-for-Singapore roles, the range is SGD 3,500–5,500. AI-fluent juniors at MNCs and top-tier local SaaS consistently land at the top of these bands.
